It's our last full week of classes for the semester! Next week we will only have full classes Monday-Wednesday and then final exams on will be administered on Thursday and Friday.
This week, the Drama 3 projects will perform in the black box on the evening of Tuesday, 12/10. I highly encourage you to attend this night of Shakespeare scenes.
On Friday, 12/13, the vocal department will present their yearly holiday concert. Tickets can be purchased online at cccepa.com.
Here's your weekly outline of what to expect in class:
DRAMA 1
On Monday you'll continue rehearsing your movement pieces, which you will perform in class on Tuesday (and Wednesday, if necessary). Once those performances have been completed, we'll resume voice exercises. You should again plan to bring/wear comfortable dress out clothes every day this week.
DRAMA 2
This week will be entirely devoted to our accent/dialect work. You'll present accents in groups and we will practice applying those accents to text.
DRAMA 4
As you know, we ran a day behind on our taping schedule, so on Monday and Tuesday we'll tape and review our final two stretch material film/TV scenes. On Wednesday you'll be able to rehearse the stretch material theater scenes, which will perform in class on Thursday and Friday. On Friday I should also have time to provide you with an introduction to the personalization exercise (details to follow in class, though you'll have nothing to prepare for this work).
Have a great week, everybody!
