This week, CCCEPA will be presenting its bi-annual performances of "Showcase." I'm excited to have the opportunity to work with so many of you and to see your incredible talents on display. Performances are this Friday and Saturday, 11/4 and 11/5, in the Reece theater at 7:30 each night.
Here's your weekly outline of what to expect in class this week:
We still have one scene coaching session to complete, which I hope to conduct on Monday. You will then have the remainder of class that day and the entire class period on Tuesday to rehearse for final scene performances, which will take place on Wednesday. On Thursday and Friday we will transition into voice and movement work, so please bring/wear comfortable dress out clothes those days.
We will start the week by holding rehearsals for your children's theater pieces. My hope is that we will be ready for final in-class performances by late in the week (hopefully Thursday). 2nd block will have a master class with Ms. Fischer on Wednesday, so please be sure to bring/wear comfortable dress out clothes that day.
On Monday you will perform your fourth monologue/song for the first time. You will then have the entire period on Tuesday to rehearse for final performances of all four of your audition pieces, and those final performances will take place Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday we will start seeing the remaining few college research presentations. If you still have a school to present, please have your document prepared no later than Friday.
Have a great week, everybody!
