This week will bring us into May: the last month of the school year! We still have a lot to accomplish, and I'm excited for all that we have in store in the upcoming (very busy) weeks.
Performances of Catch Me If You Can will be this weekend at the Jennie T. Anderson Theater! You can purchase your tickets at cccepa.com.
Here's your weekly outline of what to expect in class:
INTRO
This week will be a blend of voice and movement exercises. In 2nd block we'll begin work on movement pieces (details to follow in class). In 1st and 4th blocks, we'll complete any remaining movement piece performances and then resume text work with voice and movement exercises. As a reminder: you may use the text from you class or jury monologue, but please make sure you are staying sharp on your line memorization for whichever piece you've chosen. Also remember that you will need to bring/wear comfortable dress out clothes every day this week.
DRAMA 3
We will (finally) finish our scene work at the start of this week by reviewing the footage from our final scene, and then we'll move on to your short film project (details to follow in class) for the remainder of the week. The lone exception will be when you have your voice master class on Thursday (please bring/wear comfortable dress out clothes that day).
Have a great week, everybody!
