Hopefully by the time you're reading this you've all enjoyed a nice Labor Day weekend!
Here's your weekly outline of what to expect during our (slightly-shortened) week of classes:
DRAMA 1
On Tuesday we will tape your mock film/TV auditions, and on Wednesday we will review the footage in class and "cast" the roles via class vote. On Thursday and Friday we will resume the process of taping scenes and reviewing the footage in class. As always: if you have not yet taped your scene in class, please make sure you are arriving to class every day with your scenes memorized and two hard copies of your script.
DRAMA 2
Tuesday-Thursday you will work in groups to create your children's theater scripts. We'll review the first drafts on Friday so that everyone has the opportunity to provide feedback. If your group finishes its first draft earlier than expected, I'll review the draft with you individually and you'll have the opportunity to begin rehearsing.
DRAMA 4
We'll continue college research presentations on Tuesday and Wednesday, and then we'll return to our roundtable monologue selection review. By the end of class on Friday, everyone needs to have a second monologue approved - our second round of monologue performances will be held during the early portion of next week (the week of 9/9)!
Have a great week, everybody!
