I hope that by the time you're reading this you've all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and a restful break!
We have only three weeks until the end of the semester and a lot left to accomplish, so I hope you're all ready to finish 2019 strong!
This semester's dance concert will be this week - Friday, 12/6 and Saturday, 12/7 - at 7:30 in the Reece Theater. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at cccepa.com. Our dance concerts are always incredible, so don't miss it!
Here's your weekly outline of what to expect in class:
DRAMA 1
This week we will turn our attention to movement work (with perhaps a little voice work mixed in). You have nothing to prepare for this work, but you should plan to bring/wear comfortable dress out clothes every day this week.
DRAMA 2
We'll start the week by concluding any remaining coaching sessions on your student written monologues. You'll then have Tuesday to rehearse and we'll see final performances on Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday we'll begin an introduction to accent and dialect work!
DRAMA 4
On Monday and Tuesday we'll conclude coaching sessions for your stretch material scenes. Since we have three scenes that are film/TV scenes, we'll tape and review those scenes Wednesday - Friday of this week. Next week you'll have a chance to rehearse the theater stretch scenes in advance of final performances.
Have a great week, everybody!
