It's the last week of classes before Thanksgiving break! When we come back in December it'll be a sprint to the finish line for the semester, so let's have a productive week and then enjoy some much needed time off!
The vocal department will be presenting their Chamber Scenes this Tuesday and Wednesday (11/19 and 11/20) in the black box. You should check them out!
Here's your weekly outline of what to expect in class:
DRAMA 1
On Monday you'll rehearse for final performances of your theater scenes, which will be held on Tuesday. The remainder of the week will be devoted to voice work. As this work can be physically taxing, you may wish to bring/wear comfortable dress out clothes starting on Wednesday.
DRAMA 2
We'll start the week by completing first performances of your student-written monologues. Once everyone has had the chance to perform, the remainder of the week will be devoted to individual monologue coaching sessions. Don't forget that you'll be presenting final performances of these monologues shortly after we return from Thanksgiving break!
DRAMA 4
On Monday we'll conclude first performances of your stretch material scenes, and then the remainder of the week will be entirely devoted to individual coaching sessions. Keep in mind that final performances will be held shortly after we return from Thanksgiving break, so make sure you stay sharp on your line memorization!
Have a great week, everybody! I wish you all a restful break and a very happy Thanksgiving surrounded by family, friends and good food!
