Here's your weekly outline for the upcoming week of class:
DRAMA 1
This week we will FINALLY finish work on your film and TV scenes. We will then be moving on to the short film project. I know many of you have already started some of your initial work, but by mid-week we'll be placing our full focus on completing your short films. Please make sure you are arriving to class with everything you may need.
DRAMA 2
We have now moved on to clowning. We will begin the week by exploring clown types, and then you'll receive the "impossible task" assignment (details to follow in class). The only thing you'll need to bring with you to class is your red nose, but you may wish to bring/wear clothes that allow you to comfortably move.
DRAMA 3
We'll start the week by putting the finishing touches on your short films, and then we'll move on to another round of film/TV scenes. This time around, we'll be focused on the unique demands of shooting large group scenes. We'll spend some time searching for scenes, and then you'll have some time to rehearse in preparation for our next round of in-class taping.
DRAMA 4
Monday, Thursday and Friday you'll present round 5 of your college research presentations. On Tuesday you'll perform your 4th class monologue. On Wednesday we'll join with Mr. Adams' class for monologue coaching sessions - and/or continue our headshot and resume workshop. Looking ahead, your final performances of all four class monologues will be early next week (the week of 10/22) so please make sure you're staying sharp on your lines for all of your audition pieces!
Have a great week, everybody!
