Welcome back! I hope you all had a fantastic break and that you're feeling rested and ready to get back down to business.
As a special note to seniors: don't forget that the FAFSA opens Monday, 10/1! Go to fafsa.gov and submit ASAP! You MUST have a FAFSA on file to receive financial aid for college, and some money is awarded on a first come, first served basis!
Here's your weekly outline of what to expect in class:
DRAMA 1 and DRAMA 3
In both of these classes, we are nearing the end of our film/TV scene work. We'll continue shooting scenes this week and reviewing the footage in class. Once we have completed all scenes, we'll begin working on your short films!
DRAMA 2
We'll be wrapping up our children's theater work this week. We'll start by revisiting your pieces and putting in any necessary rehearsal time, and then you'll start final performances mid-week (if time permits).
DRAMA 4
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday will be devoted to round 4 of your college research presentations (and the completion of round 3). On Wednesday we'll join with Mr. Adams' class for monologue coaching sessions. On Friday, you'll perform your third class monologue.
Have a great week, everybody!
