I hope you've all been enjoying a fun and relaxing break!
Here's your weekly outline of what to expect in class when we return to school:
We will continue our work on contact improvisation throughout the week, however we will start layering in the text from your scenes (this is a very cool exercise - be excited). As a result, you may want to spend a little time refreshing your memory on the lines from your scenes. In addition, don't forget that you will need to bring/wear comfortable dress out clothes every day.
We will spend the entire week shooting film/TV scenes and reviewing footage in class, only starting this week we'll add a twist. As promised, students who are studying on-camera work with me for the second time will be placed in directorial roles. Several student directors have already been assigned to specific scenes, and I'd like to start shooting those scenes this week. You will all continue serving as members of the camera crew for each other's scenes as well. If you have not yet taped your scene in class, please make sure you are arriving to class with your lines memorized, your scenes blocked and two hard copies of your script.
Enjoy the rest of your break!
