As we find ourselves getting deeper into the semester - and perhaps a bit more tired than we were at the beginning of the school year - now seems like a great time to remind you that we're only two weeks away from our first week-long break! Hang in there!
Here's your weekly outline of what to expect in class:
DRAMA 1 and DRAMA 3
With our first round of mock auditions now complete, we'll spend the entire week taping scenes and reviewing the footage in class. As always, please remember that if you have not yet taped your scene you should be arriving to class every day with your lines memorized, scenes blocked and two hard copies of your script.
DRAMA 2
All groups should have finished first drafts of children's theater scripts by now. You'll have rehearsal time at the start of the week and then we'll move on to first performances. Once your scripts are finalized, make sure you're learning your lines!
DRAMA 4
On Monday you'll perform your second approved monologue. We'll review more potential monologue selections on Tuesday and Thursday. On Wednesday we'll join with Mr. Adams' class again for coaching sessions, and on Friday we'll begin round three of your college research presentations.
Have a great week, everybody!
