DRAMA 1
We still have a couple of scene coaching sessions to complete, so we'll work on those on Monday and perhaps the beginning of class on Tuesday. We will then spend the rest of the week running our showcase of your final performances, which will be in the black box on Wednesday, April 15 at 7:30pm. Since that's the week after Spring Break, please spend some time over the break refreshing your lines, perhaps running them over the phone with your scene partner. I want you all to shine in your final performance!
DRAMA 2
On Monday and Tuesday, you will be given time to rehearse your pieces of classical text (or finalize your selections on Monday, if you haven't already). The remainder of the week will be spent giving rough first performances in class and receiving some coaching. You will not be required to be off-book for these initial performances, though the more familiar you are with your script, the better. Ms. Cook will NOT be leading voice class with 2nd block this week, so this schedule will apply for both periods.
DRAMA 3
We will spend this entire week on our now well-established routine of shooting a scene in class and then reviewing the footage on the projector, providing feedback. Please have your lines memorized and your scenes ready to shoot if you haven't yet performed in class. You will NOT be having voice class with Ms. Cook this week, so we'll be focused on scenes Monday-Friday.
DRAMA 4 (Wednesdays Only)
Ms. Cook will sadly not be joining us this week and therefore you will not be working with while should would normally be working with Drama 3. As a result, we will have to wait until the week after Spring Break, Wednesday, April 15, to review the footage from our multi-camera sit-com scene, and we will also start shooting our next scene that day.
