DRAMA 1
On Monday, we will resume our search for theater scenes for your performance later in the year. I will review scenes with you and we will continue that work on Tuesday as needed. My hope is that by Tuesday, everyone will have a scene selected, and that the remainder of Tuesday and also Wednesday can be devoted to some initial rehearsal time. I'd then like to delve into our movement work on Thursday and Friday, so please bring/wear comfortable dress out clothes those days.
DRAMA 2
We will begin this week continuing the in-class coaching sessions on the monologues you've written for each other, providing feedback and including some group exercises to keep everyone involved. We'll do this work Monday-Wednesday of this week, with the exception of 2nd block on Wednesday, when you will have your usual voice class with Ms. Cook (please bring/wear comfortable dress out clothes that day, and please also prepare your monologue with at least five of the vocal variations you discussed in your last voice class). On Thursday and Friday, Drama 2 will work with Mr. Adams' Intro classes on their viewpoints compositions, as we discussed last week.
DRAMA 3
Monday will FINALLY be your last day for in-class work on your film project for the PBL we are working on with Mr. Sager's class, so please make sure to bring any necessary materials that day. On Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, we will get squarely back down to business on our film/TV work. We'll review the footage from our last scene on Tuesday and then will move on to more scenes. As I've been reminding you, please refresh your memory on your lines and blocking. You will have your usual voice class with Ms. Cook on Wednesday, so please bring/wear comfortable dress out clothes that day, and please also have your Midsummer monologue memorized and be ready to explore it in class.
DRAMA 4 (Wednesday Only)
While Drama 3 has voice class with Ms. Cook on Wednesday, you will meet with me in the white box. We will be starting a new scene and should have time to shoot the entire scene and review the footage in class, providing feedback.
Have a great week, everyone!
