The end of this week marks the mid-point of the semester! We're making great progress!
This Wednesday, 3/11 will be an early release day for students. You will attend your first and second block classes, and then be released at approximately 11:30 am. Please plan accordingly.
The PA Open House for incoming students will be this Friday, 3/13 at 7:30 in the Reece Theater. I'm excited to meet new students and families, and I encourage current students to attend - it's a great opportunity to show new students around and make them feel welcome!
Don't forget the drama juries will be held next week (the week of 3/16)!
Here's your weekly outline of what to expect in class:
INTRO
We'll start the week by completing any remaining first performances of monologues and then the remainder of the week will be devoted to individual coaching sessions. If we manage to finish coaching sessions before the end of the week, you'll be allowed time to rehearse for final performances and juries.
DRAMA 3
This week we will conclude work on your film/TV scenes! We'll tape the remaining scenes at the start of the week. As noted above, we will not have class on Wednesday due to early release. By Thursday, we should be able to tape and review your one-line mock auditions. We will then start work on your short film project.
Have a great week, everybody!
