Thank you to everyone who attended the Zoom sessions today. It was nice to see your faces and get a little caught up! If you were unable to attend, the purpose of these meetings was first and foremost to touch base with you all and hear how you're doing, but also to talk about how our classes will look in the coming days. Below is an outline of what you should be working on right now.
Also, there are still just a few of you who have not yet turned in your jury monologue. If you think you sent it but have not yet received a confirmation from me, it means I haven't received it and you should re-send it via wetransfer.com!
ASSIGNMENTS
INTRO:
Today, you should continue rehearsing your class monologue. I will have you tape them later this week, but I do not want you to tape them yet. Instead, I'd like you to truly UTILIZE rehearsal time - much like we would if we were in class. Consider the script analysis elements - particularly with regard to person or persons to whom you're talking. Consider notes you've received in class and the feedback I provided on your jury monologue. I'll be looking for growth in your final performances!
Drama 3:
Today, you should be focused on rehearsing your self-taped on-camera auditions. You'll submit a video later this week, but I still don't want you to tape just yet. Instead, focus on learning the lines and making your choices so you can present a well-prepared final product.
Have a great day, everybody!
