We may be at home but today has been a busy day in the drama department! My inbox has been flooded with jury videos (thank you to everyone who has completed this assignment!). I've been watching videos in the order I received them but with over 150 jury videos to review, it's taking time. Wetransfer.com has proven a useful resource for sending and receiving the files (if you're still having trouble sending, I highly recommend trying it). I've been very pleased by the work I've seen so far and I'm proud of the way you're all rising to the occasion under these circumstances!
Below, you'll see what you should be working on today. Underclassmen will be completing a jury reflection (outlined below) en lieu of an in-person interview, and seniors will be submitting final drafts of their reflection essays.

2019-20 Jury Questions
For what will constitute the interview portion of this year’s drama jury, please address the following questions as fully and completely as necessary. You should draft your responses on Wednesday, and then on Thursday, complete any revisions and submit your final answers. The submission method will be posted on Thursday. This gives you two days to develop, compose, and revise your responses.
1. Please consider the choice of your jury monologue and the preparation for its performance. What appealed to you about the monologue? Ultimately, what factors led to the decision to choose this monologue for your jury? Secondly, describe the preparation process used for your jury monologue, including any text analysis, character work, and the rehearsal process used in developing the final performance that you submitted.
2. Reflect on your year so far as an actor and as a student of acting. What do you do well on the stage or in performance and what are your strengths as a student of acting or in the classroom? Consider including any of your special successes and/or accomplishments as an actor or a student of acting.
3. What weaknesses or shortcomings come to mind when you think about your work both as an actor and as a student of acting? Identify any struggles or challenges that may have presented themselves in your work while rehearsing, acting, or in the acting classroom this year.
4. Looking back on this year thus far, identify a learning topic, an acting project, or an acting class assignment that has helped you the most this year and/or that may stand out as significant in your training.
5. As you think forward to next year, what goals would you like to set for yourself? These personal goals may be in the classroom, on the stage, or more largely in the PA Program and CCCEPA Drama community.
