Here's a glance at what we'll be doing in our slightly-shortened week of classes:
DRAMA 1:
On Tuesday we'll shoot our next film/TV scene and will start reviewing the footage. We'll finish looking at that scene on Wednesday and then you'll be assigned sides for a mock film/TV audition, which you will have the opportunity to prepare for the remained of class on Wednesday. On Thursday we'll tape your auditions and then we'll look at the footage on Friday and "cast" the roles based on class vote (just like we did with your mock commercial auditions).
DRAMA 2:
On Tuesday you'll meet with your groups to put the finishing touches on your children's theater scripts. You'll be allowed time on Wednesday for initial rehearsal and then we'll take a first look at your pieces on Thursday and Friday with an eye toward making revisions to your scripts.
DRAMA 4:
We'll start round two of college research presentations on Tuesday, and those presentations will continue on Wednesday and Thursday (though I suspect we will move a little more swiftly than we did in round one). On Friday we will look at a first round of monologue performances, so please make sure you have one of your monologues (any approved monologue you wish) prepared to perform on Friday. Looking ahead, we will review more potential monologue selections at the start of the following week, so if you do not yet have all of your choices approved please make sure you have options to read in class by Monday, 9/12.
Have a great week, everyone!
