DRAMA 1
Now that you've all completed work sessions on your scenes, you'll be allowed rehearsal time on Monday. On Tuesday, we will begin final scene performances. This may take until Wednesday to complete. On Wednesday, we will begin our film and TV unit with a discussion of the styles we will be covering in class, as well as an introduction to the various jobs found on a professional set (you will be filling these positions during the taping of other students' scenes). Thursday and Friday will be devoted to selecting and approving scenes for class. Remember that you can be looking at scenes online NOW.
DRAMA 2
In 2nd block, now that you've all completed work sessions on your scenes, you'll be allowed rehearsal time on Monday. On Tuesday you will present final performances. On Wednesday, Ms. Cook will be joining us to lead a voice class, so please bring/wear comfortable dress out clothes that day. On Thursday and Friday, we will begin our clowning unit with some initial exercises!
In 4th block, we still have a few scene work sessions to complete, and we'll do those on Monday. Tuesday will be devoted to rehearsal time. Wednesday we will begin final performances and due to the size of the class, I suspect we will not finish final performances until Thursday. On Friday we will begin our clowning unit with some initial exercises!
DRAMA 4
On Monday and Tuesday we will continue our college research work in class. For Wednesday and Thursday, I would like you to perform monologues in class, so hopefully you've all been preparing your approved pieces. On Friday, we will hold another three station rotation in conjunction with D3, with Mr. Adams working on classical monologues, Mr. D'Haviland working musical theater pieces and me working on contemporary monologues.
