DRAMA 1
This entire week will be devoted to our movement work, meaning you will need to dress every day in clothes which allow you to move freely. Remember that we will soon be adding text to these exercises, so I encourage you all to refresh your memory on your scripted theater scenes, as they will make for ideal material for this work.
DRAMA 2
We're nearing the end of your in-class work sessions on your classical texts, and I suspect that by mid-week that work will be completed. I will then allow some class time for you to rehearse on your own in preparation for final performances. Please be prepared to present final performances as early as Thursday of this week, though that date is subject to be pushed until later, based on the needs of the class. As always, 2nd block will have voice class with Ms. Cook on Wednesday, so please dress accordingly.
DRAMA 3
As we discussed in class, Monday should mark the end of our film/TV work, as we are scheduled to finish shooting our last scene and then review the footage. We will then move on to a unit of movement work, so you will need to start dressing every day in clothes which will allow you to move freely. Please be prepared with such clothes on Monday, as any absences may result in our not being able to finish our last film scene on Monday, but certainly for the rest of the week we will be squarely focused on movement exercises. Remember, too, that you will have voice class with Ms. Cook on Wednesday, so you will need to dress appropriately for that work as well.
DRAMA 4 (Wednesday Only)
With your Drama 4 projects fast approaching, it seems like the most useful thing to do is to consider our film/TV work completed so that you may use your Wednesdays with me for additional rehearsal time, so I will provide you with that time again this Wednesday.
Have a great week, everyone!
