DRAMA 1
On Monday, you will have your final day of in class rehearsal for your theater scenes. On Tuesday we will see first performances of your scenes. Don't forget that your written script analysis is due on Tuesday as well. For our students who were away late last week, you will be given an extra day of rehearsal and will present your first performances on Wednesday. We will then spend the remainder of Wednesday, Thursday and Friday working through your scenes individually.
DRAMA 2
After spending much of last week working with intro on their viewpoints compositions, we will turn our attention back toward your monologues. We will spend every day this week coaching through the monologues one-by-one, incorporating some partner exercises to keep everyone involved. Remember, too, that we will begin performing these monologues in 5th period after they have been coached. The only exception to this schedule, as always, will be 2nd block on Wednesday when you have voice class with Ms. Cook (please bring/wear comfortable dress out clothes that day).
DRAMA 3
Now that your in class work on your film projects is complete, we are off and running with our film/TV scenes. We will spend most of this week shooting your scenes and reviewing the footage in class, providing feedback. Also remember that your completed film projects are due this week, and that you can receive extra credit if you edit together a blooper reel. If you have not yet filmed your scene, please be prepared to do so this week. Also remember that, as always, you will have voice class with Ms. Cook on Wednesday, so please bring/wear comfortable dress out clothes that day.
DRAMA 4 (Wednesday Only)
While Drama 3 has their voice class on Wednesday, we will continue our film/TV work. We have another scene set to shoot and we should have time to tape the entire scene and review the footage in class, providing feedback.
Have a great week, everyone!
