In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day there will be no school on Monday. As you are enjoying an extra day off from school, I encourage you all to take a moment to consider exactly WHY it is that we observe this day.
Here is your weekly outline of what to expect in our upcoming week of classes:
INTRO:
You will continue rehearsing with your scene partners on Tuesday and Wednesday. I'd like to begin first performances on Thursday, but I will base that on where things stand mid-week. The most likely scenario is that you will rehearse for the first half of class on Thursday and then begin performances during the second half of class that day. Friday will be entirely devoted to first performances of scenes. Also, don't forget that your written script analysis is due on Tuesday.
DRAMA 3:
We will wrap up the scene selection process on Tuesday, and most of you will already be rehearsing your scenes by then. Since there are several groups who are still looking for scenes, I have extended the deadline for your written script analysis assignment until Thursday, however you are more than welcome to turn it in early. On Wednesday you will have a master class with Ms. Kajese, so you may want to dress to move. Also remember that she has asked you to select separate text for use in her classes this semester. You will continue to rehearse your scenes on Thursday and then we'll start shooting our first film/TV scene on Friday!
Have a great week, everyone!
