I'd like to start by reminding you that there will be no school this Tuesday, 11/6 due to Election Day (for those of you who are old enough to vote: PLEASE VOTE!).
Here's your weekly outline of what to expect in our (slightly shortened) week of classes:
DRAMA 1
We'll start the week with first performances of your theater scenes (please make sure that you are off-book by Monday!). Once all first performances are complete, we'll move on to individual coaching sessions.
DRAMA 2
This week will be entirely devoted to your student-written monologues (with the exception of seeing any remaining "clown shows" on Monday). Once all first drafts are complete and revisions have been made, you'll be allowed in-class rehearsal time, and then we'll move on to first performances.
DRAMA 3
This week will be devoted to work on your theater scenes. We'll wrap up the scene selection process at the beginning of the week and then you'll have time to rehearse in anticipation of first performances, which I hope to begin by mid-week.
DRAMA 4
This week will be entirely focused on your stretch material scenes. You'll have time to rehearse at the beginning of the week, with the hope of beginning first performances by mid-week.
Have a great week, everybody!
