I'd like to start this post by bringing your attention to a couple of unique scheduling issues this week. On Wednesday the PSAT will be administered in the morning, and as a result we will only be holding 3rd, 4th and 5th blocks. Thursday will be an early release day, meaning that we will only be meeting for 1st and 2nd period classes (there will also be no 5th period class on Thursday). With this information in mind, here's your weekly outline of what to expect in class:
DRAMA 1
We find ourselves with one on-camera scene left to shoot, so we'll start the week off by completing that work. Once we've finished, we'll fully delve into our theater scenes. You'll have Tuesday and Thursday to rehearse (no class on Wednesday) and then we will start looking at first performances on Friday. Please remember that your written script analysis assignment is due on Thursday.
DRAMA 2
We'll begin the week by continuing with clowning exercises, but by mid-week we'll shift back to your children's theater pieces. I'm still working on making arrangements for your 5th period performances, so stay tuned.
DRAMA 4
We'll see your "bonus round" of college research presentations Monday-Wednesday and then we'll be done with that project! If we finish early you'll be allowed in-class rehearsal time for your next round of monologues/songs, which you will perform in class on Friday.
Have a great week, everybody!
