DRAMA 1
We will be shooting scenes and reviewing footage each and every day. We do not have a set order for scenes, so I want EVERY student to be prepared to shoot at a moment's notice. You should have your lines memorized and your scenes blocked.
DRAMA 2
2nd Block: On Monday, we'll be looking at children's stories, so don't forget to bring in your favorite children's book. We'll be doing children's theater exercises every day this week with the exception of Wednesday, when Ms. Cook will be leading a voice class, so please bring/wear comfortable dress out clothes that day.
4th Block: On Monday you'll be performing your clown dances. After that, we'll begin transitioning into children's theater work. You have nothing to prepare at this time, but if you'd like to start thinking about your favorite children's story/favorite children's book, you'll be asked to share that story/book later in the week.
DRAMA 4
We'll be delving further into the "personalization exercise" this week. Remember, this work does not require you to prepare anything at home, but I do ask that you all arrive to class focused and ready to work. On Friday, we'll do our three-station rotation class with Mr. Adams coaching classical monologues, Mr. D'Haviland coaching songs and Mr. Dogias coaching contemporary monologues.
Don't forget: METAMORPHOSES performances are this week! The show runs October 23-25 at 7:30 and October 26 at 3:00. I hope you all can come!
