I hope you've all had a fun and restful fall break and that you're feeling ready to get back down to business!
I'd like to offer a huge shout out to the cast and crew of The Arabian Nights! I'm so proud of the show and of the work done by everyone involved. Great job!
Here's your weekly outline of what to expect in class:
DRAMA 1
We still have a few film/TV scenes left to shoot, and we will also be venturing into a lesson on multi-camera sit-com. As always, if you have not yet taped your scene in class please make sure you are arriving to class every day with your scenes blocked, lines memorized and two hard copies of your script. If we manage to finish our scenes we will move into work on theater scenes late in the week.
DRAMA 2
This week will be devoted to preparing for final performances of your children's theater pieces. We'll rehearse during the early part of the week and then start final performances no later than Thursday. Details regarding performances in 5th period will be coming soon.
DRAMA 4
Monday-Thursday of this week you'll be presenting the third and final full round of college research presentations. Please make sure you have your third school ready to present by Monday. On Friday we'll see performances of your third monologue (or for some of you, your first song).
Have a great week, everybody!
