DRAMA 1
This week will be entirely devoted to the rehearsal of your theater scenes. You'll be allowed rehearsal time with your partners Monday-Wednesday and we'll start first presentations on Thursday and Friday. On Monday we will also discuss the script analysis assignment you'll be completing in conjunction with your theater scenes, which will be due on Friday.
DRAMA 2
This week will be spent rehearsing for your children's theater performance. We'll run the show every day in class and provide feedback, and we will also work specific scenes as needed. The final performance will be this Saturday, 10/24 in the black box at 2pm. Be prepared to arrive to school at 1pm that day. Also, spread the word to family and friends!
DRAMA 3
On Monday and Tuesday we will return to our film/TV scenes. We should be able to tape and review two scenes within that time, and I'd like to start with our first multi-camera sitcom scene on Monday. Remember that if you have not yet taped your scene in class you should come prepared with your lines memorized and two hard copies of your script. On Wednesday you'll have voice class with Ms. Cook, so please bring/wear comfortable dress out clothes that day. On Thursday and Friday we will again be joined by Mr. Sager's class to continue work on our filmmaking PBL. We'll finish shooting this week and begin the editing process.
DRAMA 4
On Monday we'll see the remaining monologue performances from students who were absent last Friday, then we'll spend the remainder of the class and the entire class on Tuesday completing FINAL college research presentations. Don't forget that your 5th round of research documents are due on the blog by Monday of this week. Wednesday will be your last rehearsal period in preparation for final performances of all four class monologues, which will take place this Thursday and Friday.
Have a great week, everyone!
