We're past the halfway point in the semester! I'm pleased with the work we've accomplished so far and I'm excited to see what the next few weeks have in store.
Here's your weekly outline of what to expect in class:
DRAMA 1
We will see first performances of your theater scenes on Monday and Tuesday. Once those performances are complete, we'll move on to individual coaching sessions for the remainder of the week and into the following week. We will also spend some time this week laying the groundwork for your Halloween-themed short films!
DRAMA 2
During the early part of the week we'll see performances of your clown dances. We will then temporarily shift gears back toward your children's theater pieces, which we will rehearse in class in anticipation of your final performances late in the week. 2nd block will have a master class with a guest instructor on Wednesday, and I encourage you to bring/wear comfortable dress out clothes that day.
DRAMA 4
On Monday we'll be joined by PHS guidance counselor Mr. Burch for a presentation with valuable information about college applications and scholarships. On Tuesday and Wednesday you'll have time to rehearse your monologues and songs, and then on Thursday and Friday we'll see final performances of all four of your audition pieces.
Have a great week, everybody!
