DRAMA 1
On Tuesday, we will tape another film/TV scene and we will review the footage at the beginning of class on Wednesday. As we discussed in class, since this scene marks the halfway point in our film/TV scenes, I'd like for us to take a little break from shooting scenes and shift to commercials. We will begin commercial work during the second half of class on Wednesday. We'll discuss commercial auditions and you'll be provided with sample commercials which we will tape in class on Thursday and review on Friday.
DRAMA 2
With six True West scene final performances still remaining, we will complete final performances on Tuesday and Wednesday. As promised, Thursday will be a special class to mark the end of this challenging exercise, as I will lead a guided relaxation exercise and we'll play some theater games. On Friday, we'll begin an introduction to our clowning/children's theater unit.
DRAMA 3
On Tuesday you will have the voice class with Ms. Cook that you would normally have on Wednesday, so don't forget to bring/wear comfortable dress out clothes a day early. We will continue our typical business of taping and reviewing scenes on Wednesday and Friday but in between, on Thursday, we will meet with Mr. Sager's class for an informational meeting about our upcoming film PBL!
DRAMA 4
As promised, you'll be given the entire period on Tuesday to rehearse for your first round of monologue performances. You will then present those performances on Wednesday. On Thursday and Friday we will begin round three of your college research presentations. Please don't forget that research for your second school should be posted to the blog no later than the start of class on Wednesday.
Have a great, short week, everyone!
