I hope you all stayed safe in the storm! The below post has been updated to reflect the cancelled days of school.
DRAMA 1
On Wednesday we will tape your mock auditions (don't forget to memorize them!). We will then watch the footage in class and "cast" the roles via class vote, just like we did with your mock TV/film auditions. We will then spend the rest of the week shooting the remaining scenes and reviewing the footage in class. If you are in one of the three scenes that has not yet been taped in class, please make sure your lines are memorized, your scenes are blocked and you are arriving to class with two hard copies of your script.
DRAMA 2
Once we have finished reviewing the first drafts of your children's theater pieces you will be allowed time to revise your scripts. By Friday of this week we will review your final drafts in class, and then you will have the remainder of the class to rehearse for full performances of your children's theater pieces.
DRAMA 4
On Wednesday and Thursday we will conclude round 2 of your college research presentations. We will also have a visit from Mr. Pat Hurley on Thursday to discuss monologue selection. On Friday you will rehearse approved monologue choices in groups while I review additional monologue choices with each of you individually. Your next round of performances will be pushed until the following week.
Don't forget that the fall vocal concert is this Friday, 9/15 at 7:30 in the Reece Theater!
Have a great week, everybody!
