As always (and a little early this time), here's your weekly outline of what to expect in class:
INTRO:
We're now moving on to monologue work. On Monday and Tuesday you will be allowed time to search for monologues (you will need to select a different piece than the one you used for juries). The playbooks in my classroom will be available to you, but please also feel free to bring in outside sources. The remainder of the week is blocked out for in-class rehearsal time, however if we run ahead of schedule we'll be able to begin first performances on Friday.
DRAMA 3:
Since not everyone was available to finish shooting scenes last week, we'll shoot and review our final film/TV scene on Monday. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday will then be devoted to work on your short films! Tuesday you'll meet with your groups to finish writing your scripts and develop your schedule, and then you'll be allowed time to shoot your films on Thursday and Friday. On Wednesday you'll have an improvisation master class with Mr. Waters (and you KNOW that'll be a good time).
Also, don't forget: there will be a vocal concert this Tuesday, 4/18 at 7:30!
Have a great week, everybody!
