We're coming up on the midpoint of the semester!
Here's your weekly outline of what to expect in class:
INTRO:
On Monday and Tuesday you will continue developing and rehearsing your movement pieces, which you will then perform in class on Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday we will transition into voice work. Much like our movement work these activities are very physical, so you will definitely want to bring/wear comfortable dress out clothes on Friday (and as needed for your movement pieces all other days this week).
DRAMA 3:
As I'm sure you've come to expect, we will continue shooting scenes and reviewing footage this week. As a reminder, if you have not yet taped your scene you should be arriving to class every day with your lines memorized, scenes blocked and two hard copies of your script. The one exception to this schedule will be on Wednesday when you will have a movement master class (you will absolutely want to bring/wear comfortable dress out clothes that day).
Break a leg, cast and crew of Damn Yankees! Performances are this week, 3/16-3/19 at the Jennie T. Anderson Theatre. Tickets are available online at www.cccepa.com.
Also, don't forget that PA contracts for next year are due for all freshmen, sophomores and juniors on 3/24. Make sure that you turn in your contract to one of your major area teachers by that date.
Have a great week, everybody!
